I just made the yummiest breakfast this morning! I FEEL GOOD!!!! na na na na NA!
I woke up at 6am and had my green tea with the kids and hubby. Then he took them to school early for my daughter's group to meet before classes, and I went and did a mile on the Gazell glider in 23 minutes. I went to shower and then had time to zip up a terrific Blueberry Smoothie before I started cleaning my studio again. Here's the recipe:
1/2 cup orange juice
1 1/2 cups Vanilla Silk (soymilk)
2 T soy lecithin granules (for reducing cholesterol and triglicerides and that CREAMY FEEL GOOD taste)
1 1/4 cup frozen blueberries or enough to be just barely covered by the liquids.
1 tsp. brown sugar (stevia, splenda or honey- optional substitutes)
Dump it all in the food processor and bzzzzzzzzzzzz up until SMOOTHIE! You can eat 1/2 today and freeze the rest for tomorrow, or use as a mid afternoon blueberry ice-"cream" treat.
God is SO GOOD to give us blueberries!
They take out the toxins, and boost your immune system with the good kind of vitamin c that doesn't hurt your stomache. They fight cancer and they always taste so good, I will never tire of blueberries! We pick at least 100 lbs - 135 lbs every year just so we can each have at least a 1/2 a day. Just don't eat five pounds of blueberries in one day like my son did on his 16th birthday! You'll loose about 10 pounds reeeeeeaaallly FAST! He did say that he felt very energized after that was over though, so he must have gotten a deep DETOX in a day kind of thing, I guess..
It took him a couple of months to be able to stand the thought of another blueberry, but he's still likes them.
Well, I have clay to wedge, cups to throw, and shelves to organize.
